Happy Jolly Llamas can llamatize any event. We provide a range of llama-themed services for private parties, businesses, and communities with our two llamas, Dill and Pickle. At an event we spend time educating people about llamas, sharing their unique characteristics and abilities, allowing people to pet, brush, hug, feed and take pictures with Dill and Pickle. 

An event is 2-hours long. Once you decide you want llamas at your event please reach out to us. We will confirm your date and gather the information for the event, discussing your vision and any themes or costume ideas you may have. We send a service agreement to you which will secure your event date and time once you sign and send back the document. In the agreement it outlines our expectations, our commitment to you, and our cancellation/refund policy. 

The day of the event, we arrive on the set time and bring out the llamas, Dill and Pickle. During the 2 hours, we cater to the type of event. If it is a smaller group we can start with llama education but if it is a larger group we tend to answer questions as people interact with the llamas. We have brushes for grooming. We bring treats for people to feed the llamas. We allow for ample time to get great pictures with the llamas. We clean up any llama waste immediately and we remove it from the event site. Once the 2 hours is up, Dill and Pickle say their goodbyes and we are on our way.  Leaving you with lasting llamas memories!

A llama event is 2-hours long and offers more interaction with the llamas and a themed costume for the event. A llama gram is a 30-minute visit to a private residence. You can book a llama gram for yourself or send a llama gram to someone else! 

A llama gram is less expensive but it is less time with the llamas. We encourage you to follow us on instagram and facebook @happyjollyllamas to learn about our Llama Location events. When we choose a llama location to offer llama grams the price will be discounted because we will be traveling in the same area. We also plan to offer llama grams around certain holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s day, Father’s day and Christmas to name a few. Be sure to follow us for updates and Llama Locations!

To book Happy Jolly Llamas for your event, please visit our Book Now page or email us at hannah@happyjollyllamas.com. Provide details about your event, and we’ll get back to you with availability and pricing.

We recommend booking our services at least 4-6 weeks in advance to ensure availability, especially during our peak event summer season. Happy Jolly Llamas will coordinate with the city to ensure all permit requests are approved prior to the event. We will do our best to accommodate last-minute requests however we do need approval from the cities we bring the llamas too. 

If booking for a wedding, please contact us at least 8-12 weeks in advance in order to coordinate and comply with wedding venue requirements. 

The sooner the better to reserve Dill and Pickle to share in your celebration! 

We will contact you prior to confirming your event and securing your event date. During that time, we will discuss the layout of the event to ensure a safe space for the llamas to interact with your guests and confirm the location to park our trailer. 

We request that any pets are kept inside during the llama visit. 

Llamas are herbivores and they will graze on grass and weeds. They may go to the bathroom in your yard however we have the supplies to clean it up and you can actually use llama droppings as fertilizer in your yard/garden. Llamas will not leave permanent damage to your yard and the handlers keep them away from flowers and plants. If you are concerned about landscaping, we can discuss other areas to bring the llamas. 

Yes, our llamas are well-socialized and accustomed to being around people of all ages, including children. They are gentle and friendly, making them perfect companions for any event. 

Llamas can see behind them which takes away the concern for them to back kick like a horse. 

Llamas have pads on the bottom of their feet, not hooves. If a llama were to step on a person’s foot, it would hurt but very unlikely to break a bone. 

Llamas do not have top teeth. They have a padded gum on top. They are unable to bite and break skin on a human.

We are also working on adding a llama kissing booth to our events which can be added on to your event price. 

We accept cash, checks, and Zelle electronic payments at this time. 

If weather permits us from coming to the event, you will be refunded in full and offered a day to reschedule. This is outlined in our service agreement as well.
