Happy Jolly Llamas can llamatize any event. We provide a range of llama interaction services for private parties, businesses, and communities with our two llamas, Dill and Pickle. At an event we spend time educating people about llamas, sharing their unique characteristics and abilities, allowing people to pet, hug, feed, walk and take pictures with Dill and Pickle.
Note: At public events we do not hand out treats for guests to feed the llamas as they can overeat and become ill. We do not allow walking of the llamas at public events for the safety of the animals and guests. At private events, if there is a fenced in area, guests are allowed to walk the llamas around.
A typical event is about 2-hours long. Once you decide you want llamas at your event please reach out to us. We will confirm your date and gather the information for the event, discussing your vision and needs. We send an event agreement for you to sign and gather a $100 deposit, which will secure your event date and time. In the agreement, it outlines our expectations, our commitment to you, and our cancellation/refund policy.
The day of the event, we arrive early to set up the event space and bring out Dill and Pickle at the set start time. We adapt to the type of event. If it is a smaller group, we can start with llama education, but if it is a larger group we tend to answer questions as people interact with the llamas. We allow for ample time to get great pictures with the llamas. We clean up any llama waste immediately, and we remove it from the event site. Once the allotted time is up, Dill and Pickle say their goodbyes and we are on our way. Leaving you with lasting llamas memories!

Llamas have amazing eyesight. They can see almost 360 degrees without moving their heads. This eliminates the thought that they get spooked like horses do. Llamas see us approaching them from all angles.

On to our most asked question. Yes, spit happens! Llamas do spit but most commonly at each other to communicate hierarchy, to express annoyance with each other, and over space or food. Our llamas are socialized around humans and do not view us as a threat. If you get spit on it is most likely because you were caught in some llama drama and were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
